Artist who can help patients develop their artistic skills. Work in a supervised setting with patients who have an interest in drawing and painting. We will supply materials. Hours can be set to suit volunteer needs.
Musician who can teach patients who have some musical ability to play piano or other instrument. Work in supervised setting. Hours can be set to suit volunteer needs.
Data entry person who can work in the hospital library entering holdings into Access database. Ability to type is all that is needed. No patient contact. Hours can be set to suit volunteer needs.
Special events volunteer who can accompany patients to special events that are held on Wednesdays or Saturdays in the hospital.
Letter Writing and Socializing volunteers with an interest in assisting patients with letter writing and socializing. You may have a rewarding experience at Catawba Hospital by interacting with patients who are preparing to return to the community.
